Aziz Ansari hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend and his monologue was just him doing stand-up. And since his episode happened the day after the inauguration, his jokes were mostly about Trump. Aziz probably expected his monologue would trigger a Twitter tantrump. Instead, the person who slapped at him the next morning was Chris Brown. Sorry, I really should have specified that it was a verbal slapping. It is Chris Brown we’re talking about, after all.
The joke that has Chris Brown so pissed happens around the 1:17 mark, but Aziz says,“If you think about it, Donald Trump is basically the Chris Brown of politics, and Make America Great Again is his ‘These Hos Ain’t Loyal.'”
Chris Brown responded by posting (and later deleting) a video on Instagram of himself saying that he “can’t catch a break” and making a joke about Aziz being salty. He replaced that video with a clip of Aziz’s joke and added the following caption:
“FUCK NO!!!!!! Somebody tell ALADDIN HOP OFF MY DICK!”
Just for reference, mostly for Chris Brown’s reference, Aziz Ansari’s parents are from India. Whereas Aladdin – not a real person, by the way – is either from the Middle East or possibly China. Honestly, Aziz was technically incorrect when he called Donald Trump “the Chris Brown of politics.” It’s clearly the other way around. Losing his shit on social media and not being able to tell brown people apart feels more like something “the Donald Trump of the music industry” would do.
