While performing a show in London on Wednesday night as part of Drake’s Boy Meets World Tour, he took a sharp slap at one of his oldest foes, Chris Brown. If Drake’s tour was anything like the real Boy Meets World, this would be where Mr. Feeny sits Drake’s ass down to tell him to stop poking at Chris Brown.
Drake’s petty bitch moment happened during the same show in which Travis Scott fell through a hole on stage. Drake must have been feeling extra bitchy that night, because he also came for Omarion. Uproxx gives us some context for the following video. They say Drake was addressing his production crew and was mad that they were playing too many slow jams. That’s when he dragged Chris and Omarion into it.
“I think you a little tense tonight. You acting like this shit is like some Omarion, Chris Brown sultry shit. This not that kinda show. I’m a turnt up n*gga!”
I kind of hope Chris Brown’s biggest fan, Michael Rapaport, leaps to his defense and slaps back at Drake. If only because I want to see if Drake also has a random tough-acting white guy in his 40s up in Canada who will fight back for him. I’m sure that as soon as J-Roc gets the dial-up in his trailer working, it will happen.
Chris Brown usually fights back on Instagram the second someone comes for him, and he might have done that after Drake dissed him in London. Chris recently put up this video (and then – wait for it – deleted it) shortly after Drake’s show. Some people seem to think that after Chris hisses at his main foe Soulja Boy, he gets in a tiny dig at Drake.
That answers the question: “I wonder who Drake will be rooting for in that Chris Brown/Soulja Boy boxing match?” Or maybe he’s just angling for his own fight. Drake may have that buff new body, but he needs to remember that Chris Brown has that wily meth-head unpredictability. Drake, it’s not worth it. Go back to pretending to date JLo, it’s safer there.
